I've had lots of pollinators all summer on all my dahlias but this variety has been like a narcotic to the bees. Sometimes there will be 6 at once fighting over the pollen of one flower. It kind if reminds me of cats and catnip. Sometimes in this small patch of my garden I can walk in and 50 bees are completely unaware of me. Pics do not do it justice. They sleep on these flowers.
