So in my last post about general care, I got a lot of advice about changing the soil. Since I’m still new at this, I need even the most basic advice.
What kind of dirt should I put this plant in? Should there be rocks in it? Where would they go? How much of each should I add when/if I repot him? Will I need fertilizer or anything similar?
Right now the soil is lumpy and gets really packed when I water, so it’s staying really wet. I’ve been disturbing the top layer of soil so it’ll dry faster but it’s not working very well for the lower layers.
I’ve added a photo of what the current soil looks like dry for reference. General any advice about soil / prep for repotting would be appreciated!
