I've been wanting to change my lawn into something that is low maintenance to the point where I rarely have to mow if ever. I attempted some clovers but they die very quickly in this Texas sun.
I have been noticing this weed that's been growing in my yard that spreads like a carpet along the ground and does not grow tall. It also seems to be very resistant to the Texas sun. Can someone id this weed for me? I'd love to get some seeds and spread it all through my lawn next year.

It’s hard to see but maybe a type of sedum?
Is that…. Is that…. spurge?? I hope not but it’s hard to see because there are no zoomed in pics where we can see the individual leaves/parts of the plant.
