Please help me. Last time I went out to work in the “garden” of my new house for the first time pulling tons of bindweed, I got covered in chigger bites. I made sure I wore clothing that covered everything but I still got eaten alive from my shoulders to my ankles. It was miserable and traumatizing

now I am scared to ever work in that garden again….but that his not an option in my bindweed battle. Any tips to avoid or get rid of chiggers?!?! (Also open to any suggestions for bindweed destruction other than torching the entire area)***Before and after pics only for attention and to give you a general idea of the area I’m working with.

You should proud of your work it is not easy. Take a step back refresh attack again. Soapy water with some vinegar does the trick for most insects. Spray around where you plan on working ahead of time. Allow time to pass as the mix will do it thing
