Hi. Lux meter is showing this at 35.6KLux or (35,600 LUX). After putting this number in an online Lux to PPFD calculator, the estimated PPFD comes to 634.48 umol/s/m2.
This does not seem correct. This is only a 10W sansi bulb at 8 inches from the pot. The PPFD seems very strong to me given i only have one 10w bulb on it.
My question: Is 634.48 PPFD ok? Does this seem accurate to you guys? Do i need more or less light. Light is on for 12hrs of the day on a timer.

no it’s basically impossible to give it too much light.
these plants are used to grow under full sun, i don’t think a 10w bulb is stronger than the sun.
Also remember they need winter dormancy for a minimum of 2/3 months
Oh, I remember you 🙂 … ~600 PPFD is plenty. don’t worry about it.
