What to do with my first strawberry plants over winter?

Most likely to late to save some judging by how they are dropping but what’s do you do?

It’s my first year growing 6 small plants

Just leave them. Trust me they’ll be back. Strawberries are invasive and spread on their own. You might have to thin it down in spring.

Remove stolons/runners and pot up individually. I would only leave about five plants in that planter. Remove all brown and crispy leaves. When all leaves have fallen off cover with straw until next year.

Remove any competing weeds and pick off faded foliage and old runners to improve air flow between plants and reduce the risk of pest and disease problems next year.
