San Pedro Cactus

Any tips?

I just got my first San Pedro and was wondering how to make it grow quick and healthy. I am watering when soil is dry and it is near a window, but should I be using fertiliser and should I be worried about the dead looking bits?

Soil looks way too organic, especially for indoor growth, where there isn’t a ton of airflow.

Plant should be potted a little deeper. I’d personally bury it to where the corking has already occurred.

Window light has proven to be largely insufficient for the healthy growth of trichs. It will need to be outside in the sunlight, or under some hefty grow lights.
