Wait till the soil drys out then water again, about once a week or if it’s been hot for you also then about every 3 days. Indoors probably only needs once a week.

As long as it has roots, then water it when it shows signs of thirst just like fully grown succulents. If the leafs look wilted or wrinkle when you lightly pinch, then water.

Since the pot of much bigger than the baby I think I would just spray water around the succulent. If you water the whole thing it will retain way too much moisture

You should put it in a much smaller pot to avoid overwatering. Then start to water like you would any other succulent by looking for signs of thirst: wrinkled, deflated, puckered leaves. When in doubt, don’t water.

Did it have healthy roots when the leaf fell off?
