Hi all,
I've recently in the last couple weeks started a basic lawn reset. I've scalped it back and bought a Draper Scarifier and Aerator. See below pics.
Following that, I've reseed Kikuyu in some of the dead patches. I've also put on some Granular fertiliser and top dressed a few spots that needed it.
Now after a week or so of regrowth I can see some of the Kikuyu coming through. However, at the same time there appears to be some form of unidentified weed growing. It looks similar to Kikuyu but I'm not 100% certain.
Can anyone confirm if this is a weed or just maturing Kikuyu?
Also any advice to help get the lawn back in shape would be appreciated. Cheers!
