So I have these two guys. They're a couple of months old and have only ever put out white leaves. Now I'm really just growing them for as long as I can to grow as big a rhizome as possible for when it does eventually die back.
But now my question and reason for this post. Even though they very clearly gave a deathwish, each new leaf seems to be forming out if an area that has some green or at least the sheath where the new leaf comes out of is green. Is there any hope at all of it ever making a variegated leaf? I mean, it should be right? There's clearly green there! PUTA MADRE lol
I am just growing it out to as big a rhizome as I can before they die, but thought this might be an interesting discussion?
