Grown here in Monterey CA where the average summer temperature is around 70°F, so finding varieties that will set fruit and ripen is a challenge. These are mostly early girls, with some Sun Gold, husky cherry, black cherry, and some yellow pear-shaped that didn't produce very well at all. It's time to hunt up some canning jars…
