40lbs of frozen beef patties for bee keeping. Can I put into compost?

This is bee food used during winter time. I need to get rid of asap and don’t have time to giveaway. I don’t like that there are some in natural ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and the other ingredients you can’t pronounce. Compost worthy? Will 40lbs overwhelm a compost?

  1. Title should read bee patties NOT beef patties.

  2. I think it is okay. How big is your pile/tumbler and how full it is?

I wonder what the fat is. It doesn’t look to be an animal fat which is good. Animal fats will be an issue.

Yeah those should be fine. They’re delish so you might wind up with a lot of insects coming to feast. The chemical ingredients are natural preservatives and some essential nutrients.

Beekeeper and composter here, you’ll be fine. I would mix in more browns and get it all damp.
