The first picture is a month ago when it bloomed for the first time. Second picture is now when it’s reblooming from the same peduncle with twice as many buds. Is this typical? I figured it would have been a year or so before it bloomed through that peduncle again🤷♂️

Not uncommon for the caudata sumatra in my experience. It’s a frequent rebloomer once it starts going. Pretty much expected quarterly blooms from it.
I sold my caudata Sumatra and I’m seriously missing those blooms 😩 yours is so beautiful! 😻
