Cactus

got this today, is the “web-like” stuff natural?

I never know with stores and whether they add shit as decoration, especially on cacti. But I’m not familiar with this kind so I don’t know if it’s natural or if web stuff was added to give a spooky effect

Lol it’s modified cactus spines, variety prob old man of the Andes or something like that. Great speciman but yes, you need to groom it just like troll hair

  2. All these plants require different needs, so you had better seperate them into different pots.
If you ask web like stuff on Sempervivum, yes its normal. It is Sempervivum arachnoideum.

The white hairs on the cactus protects it from intense sunlight and harsh temps. The more sun it gets, the more hairs it produces.
