Got this party time alternanthera a few weeks ago. Ordered it for myself for my birthday. Been wanting one for a while. Shipping got delayed by two days (note to self: don't order plants from Florida to Texas when a hurricane is on the way, dumbass). First picture is current. Second was when I finally got it.
I keep telling myself:
"Well, there's 4 good leaves on it. Maybe it'll come back from the brink of death."
"I watered it and put it in a nice window, maybe she'll appreciate it and grow some new leaves."
"I took some cuttings, maybe I can save it that way."
I'm literally doing everything but throwing out the plant, which, I'm pretty sure just needs to be done at this point. Still don't wanna give up though. Just gonna wait until every last piece of it crumbles to death. Then I'll throw it away.

Nah, I had one that’s just how they look 🙈
Maybe give it a dowel for support? Idk I have one and it looks like that. The store it came from had it supported with a moss pole and I thought that was stupid and then learned later that it was I…. I was the stupid one lol
