My wife and I are planning our first DIY landscaping project in our backyard. We have two large dogs who run around our concrete patio and damage the grass nearby. I've attached a picture of our plan for reference. The gray blocks represent 2×2 concrete pavers, while everything in brown will be either gravel or river rock. We also have a French drain, and with proper grading, we shouldn't encounter any drainage issues. Any suggestions regarding the plan or tips to avoid mistakes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
