Hoya

Help!

Bought this last night from Lowe’s. It has some good vibes other that are yellow. Soil is drenched and will be repotting this afternoon. What are possible causes for the yellowing leaves and how do I remedy? I heard somewhere that this particular Hoya can turn yellow when overwatered. Any tips?

Root rot, personally I would return the plant. Not worth the hassle or stress. If you really want to keep it, cut off all of the healthy sections and prop that! 🙂

    Root rot!

Pop it out of the pot and look at the roots. If they look like whispy hairs, it’s rot. Chop and prop for insurance. Maybe cut the rot off… but this looks pretty bad. I would cut it and repot in some chunky perlite soil.

    Good luck.
