I turned towards my Detolf greenhouse and gasped out loud when I saw the flower. The peduncle is so thin and tiny, and there were some dried buds behind the flower, but I don’t think I would have realized it was a peduncle. I love how giant the flower is compared to how thin and elongated the retusa leaves are!

Omg congrats!!! Ahh I really want one of these, let alone a bloom 😍. I have a Rhipsalis bacciflora (dunno if I spelt that right) and I comfort myself with the knowledge that it looks a bit like a retusa 😂
