One of my violet cuttings has started turning brown after its most recent watering. Is this overwatering? Can I recover it? Second picture is the other cutting and the parent plant.

Is it from outer leaves of the mama plant? The leaves might be old. Best are leaves closer to the center. I suggest to moisten the soil first. It looks like its hydrophobic.After potting and labeling your leaf. Put it in a clear ziplock bag. Blow air and place in well lit area. No sun🥵.
