At this point, what’s going on?

So I originally had this cactus 4 years ago and it was dome shaped. Shortly after it started growing up into a milk bottle shape and I googled and it said it was "dehydrated" so I cut off the top completely. After a few months it has now grown three similar looking babies? No idea what's going on with it now.
