Rare Houseplants

Put my Philodendron elegans in the ground, and it put out a gorgeous leaf.

I guess it's not a "houseplant" anymore, but excited to see it grow and climb. It was in 100% sphagnum, hadn't been fertilized in a year, and I only watered it once every few months. It'll be much happiet I'll be adding sphagnum to the metal coils as it climbs (they're mattress springs that I mounted to the inside of a box spring). The soil does not look pretty, but it's full of large perlite underneath the top layer.
