Growing in karst/rock. It is about 3.5×3.5’.
I’ve left it this summer since we have erosion issues on a slope for a new build.
But when it starts to get cool, I’ll be doing trimming and culling, and I’ve no idea what this thing is. Neither did Google Lens.
Ignore the amazingly robust rosemary behind it.
Any help appreciated.

Has it ever flowered? The stalks almost look like gulf vervain but over never seen one make that big a clump before. Can you get a closer image of one of the stalks?
