I have been a notorious plant killer (I’m a novice) and I need help with this one. My partners sister gifted us these BEAUTIFUL, lush monstera leaves that she cut from her own and propagated in water for a long time before a move. Family is important to him so I really want to keep this plant alive.
The roots were sooo grown we had to break the jar to get it out. Some looked rotted but I wasn’t sure and planted it anyway. Do they look rotted or is this normal? Do I dig it back up to take them off if so? How do I do that without harming the healthy roots? Thank you in advance!! (Ignore my attempt at cat-proofing)
