Hello there, have just moved off of the farm and into my families home in a less remote area of the north east United States. My folks had gotten a fig tree gifted to them a few years ago and I wa hoping to take some cuttings from it. Just wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it. I have experience making cuttings but only from cannabis plants so not sure how different this is. Normally I would take a cutting then dip it into cloning gel then set into some sort of growing medium and that is about it. Could I just take a cutting from the tree and set it in water until roots grow? Sorry for the newbie question. Excited to get into propagating some more stuff around here.
