Also, is my Large Foliage an Amazonica or a Polly? Is its soil too dense? It seems to be thriving right now.

Amazonica and Polly are the same, and my Syngoniums love a lot of light, and grow bigger and more variation when given lots of light. Id imagine direct sun all day wouldn’t be good but the average amount next to a good window or under grow lights is great. Mine are set on 12 hours a day and my growth is fantastic.

No. Alocasias love light. Look at some of mine that I posted in the past days.

Alocasias are low light plants growing in shade IN NATURE, low light outside is A LOT stronger than low light indoors. Place it in a bright spot.

Mine is enjoying its life in my (shaded) west window. I have some in south windows, too. They love light in my experience.

All my alocasia’s prefer to have some direct sunshine during the day. My sarian likes to be blasted with full sun for most of the day.

Without, they etiolate. No idea why everyone else’s alocasia’s are complying with instruction and mine aren’t 😂
