I’m going to pull out this Tibuchina (about 2m tall) in order plant a crepe myrtle. I don’t like my chances but I’m hoping it survives and I can put it in a really big pot. How can I maximise it’a chance for survival?
Pre soak the ground with seasol? Prune it back hard to make it smaller and have less leaves/flowers to focus on root recovery?
