It was doing fine for like 3 years and now in the last months the colouring has gone off… I'm worried about it! Last photo is next to a newer one I got recently for comparison 😅
Pot has drainage, I make sure there's water in the cup-like part of the plant and water every few days. It gets plenty of indirect light – never direct.

If I’m not mistaken, on the old plant, you can se a baby bromelia emerging. As far as I know that’s how they live, as the new plant starts growing the old plant starts to die out. Someone pls correct me if I’m wrong. 🙂
