A bunch of stringy mould popped up on my prop about a week ago, and I can’t seem to get it off! I’ve tried soaking it in a 1:1 peroxide/water bath combined with thoroughly washing and sanitizing the prop shroom twice now, but it seems to keep coming back.
Am I missing something? Can/should I let the prop dry out a bit after another peroxide treatment? Should/can I go full peroxide bath?
I was hoping to plant this one soon, it has so many nice roots- I don’t want to have to start over!

Are you talking about the stuff that kind of looks like a clear/whitish jelly that forms around the roots? If so, that’s not mold. It’s something called [root mucilage](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_mucilage#:~:text=Root%20mucilage%20is%20made%20of,with%20soil%2Ddwelling%20life%20forms.) and is totally normal and not harmful to your prop.
