They’re old holes from when the leaf was furled. Notice how all the affected leaflets are adjacent to each other. Also, notice the pattern is the same in each leaflet, while the distance of the holes from the midrib gets farther as you move left, presumably closer to the main stem/“trunk”. A bugger ate its way through all those leaflets all at once, probably making 3 “tunnels” which actually punched through multiple layers of multiple leaflets simultaneously. It’s a very common occurrence. Cool observation.
