Fiddle Leaf Fig

Help me figure out what’s wrong with my poor fiddle leaf before I kill it

We moved just over 1 month ago so the fiddle leaf is definitely mad about that, for starters. From Colorado to El Paso, TX…so both dry climates.

I’ve placed the fiddle leaf next to a west facing window but the sunlight isn’t great. Leaves started to dry up quickly, edges turned in, and color of leaves turned from green to this silvery-white-gray. Then, they just started dropping off…like 5 over the past 1.5 weeks 🙁

I recently put a humidifier by it but not sure if it’s helping at all.

Anyone know how I can get it to better health?

Light isn’t sufficient to sustain this species. You could try growlights. Unfortunately with plants you have to choose what works for your space and in this case a Ficus isn’t the right plant for this quality of light

I’d move it back further from the window, it needs to acclimate to the new heat level.
If it’s the majority of the leaves you can cut the main stalk down to about 4 inches and it will regrow, just water it like usual.

Not enough of water and light!Flf is tropical plant, they love sunlight..put it closer to the window and open up these blinds..you may put it on a plant stand..let the sunlight(UV)sterilise the soil(contains bacteria/germs..etc.)

..and water it thoroughly until the water flows out bottom(water it once every 14days)..remember don’t keep excess water in saucer after watering, because this excess water can cause root rot
