Here’s the original post.
I overwatered trying to keep the top moss and orchids from drying out. Result is slime mold in spots and I had to drain some water from the drainage layer because it got too high. Otherwise happy with the moss and micro orchid growth.

Edit: also had to turn the light down; was too bright for the Saxifraga stolinifera. Thankfully it’s growing out of the damage.
ETA: drainage layer is coconut husk pieces, on top of that is a soil retention barrier made from weed cloth. Then some horticultural charcoal followed by Zoo Med critter creature soil.
I spray the top mosses until water drips down the wood to the slightly larger orchids. I did water in the morning with 1/4 strength Better-Gro orchid grow fertilizer but recently switched to distilled so twice a day with distilled. I’ll add ferts via squirt bottle to the orchid clumps from time to time going forward, maybe once a week.
The light is an LED with stand off Amazon: 5W Aquarium Light with Oak Base (Brand: DVHEY).
It looks awesome! Is it closed off or just always open?
How did you mount the orchid? I’d love to make something similar
Moss growth is looking *lush*. I love it
Wait, there’s a micro version of saxifraga stolonifera? Where does one find this?
Also, looks amazing. Have you gotten any of the orchids to bloom yet?
