The tree trimming company trimmed way to much off our pine tree. Are we totally screwed? Will it grow back all all or just die now?

It won’t necessarily die, but it isn’t likely to grow back branches in the spots they were removed. It will also be more likely for the stem to snap due to high winds now.

Geez, that tree didn’t need trimmed at all. What a shame.

I’d be super pissed.

They do what they think you wanted. Next time watch while they trim snd let them know when to stop.
Don’t be mad, it’s a lesson.

That tree didn’t need to be trimmed at all from the first photo. Now your neighbors have a view into your yard.

That’s a Norway Spruce btw. Unfortunately lower limbs will not grow back and the trees more prone to snap in wind storms
