Good morning Niall, great to see you back. My garden isn't that big but as I get older I'm glad it's not,it's manageable and I still like my bedding plants which now are looking rather sad after the last few weeks of wet and windy weather. So lots to do,getting them out and getting ready to get my new daffodil bulbs in. Still very wet here and turning cooler now. I still go round deadheading most days, cosmos still looking good, marigolds not too bad,the sunflowers that have been glorious are mostly out now as the weather destroyed them 😢.
Thank you for all your knowledge, hope you get your garden sorted and hope too your new extension is all done. Thanks again take good care,it's time for church,it's our harvest weekend. Bye for now, happy gardening 😊🌻🌸🤗x
Welcome back Niall, great advice to observe where the sun shines in different parts of your garden. My garden is northeast facing but because it doesn’t have large trees or buildings near it still manages to get lots of sun. The sun is breaking through here in West Cork today!
Good morning Niall ♥️ and glad to see your face again.
Great steps for deciding where, when how!
❤Peggy❤
Love the intro! Is it new?
Good to see you back buddy. I'm excited to see the new gardens.
That measuring tool looks cool, too bad my yards not big enough to need it.
Living in North Dakota compared to Rhode Island these last years you learn quickly where your micro-climates are, knowing them makes a big difference as you say. I have to say even though you see your garden at a point of disarray it does still have a good feeling about it. Is your wedding cake tree the kind of tree you could cut to the ground in spring and keep the new growth in a lower form?
Thank you.
Lovely to see you back.
Oh no not your Wedding Cake tree. It is so very beautiful this year. Can you not trim up the Birch Tree? Glad you are back. Thanks for the video.
Greetings from Boston to all of Niall Gardners. A beautiful sunny New England Fall Day. Beautiful foliage. Great video, Niall. I'm glad to see you fully recharged!!!
Great to see you back. Hreat video, and great footage. Im taking my time too, ha ha until i sw my hubby cutting branches off my tree, i know it will be grand, ( hubby is too😂😂😂) Your wedding cake tree is beautiful.😢
Great vid Niall. One thing I would add from my Zone 3 Canadian garden is to look at hours of daylight. I am finding my first frost date is moving later into fall however by October, at <12 hours of daylight, growing is mostly done.
Love that your back, missed that happy face😘. Great advice as usual and exactly what I have been doing during my first 2 seasons while trying to plan my little urban back garden. Look forward to more great videos… I hope we will be sowing with you again soon😉
Hi Niall very useful video I think your garden is beautiful ❤
Lovely to see you back Niall. One thing which shocked me was just how much shade I still get in my south facing garden. I need to consider what I plant where more next year
I also wing it a bit too much and need to stop that 😅
merci pour tous ces bons conseil Niall !
Thank you Niall. Your 'Wedding" tree – is it possible to replant it somewhere else where you can plant it straight up and it can be free to grow? Especially as you love it.
