Fiddle Leaf Fig

FLF not growing – advice

Had this FLF for about a month now. It’s shown no signs of putting out any new growth. There is a single leaf bud only just emerging from the top (pic 4) – but this hasn’t moved since I got it.

One / two of the leaves have some of pest damage (maybe thrips – see pic 2 for a stunted leaf) I got it like this but have treated and not seeing any active pests or further damage. There’s a decent amount of brownish edema (I think – see pic 2 and 3) under a lot of the leaves (again was there when I got it).

In Europe and seasons are changing and sunlight has been slim pickings over the last 1-2 weeks. However my other plants in the same window are all thriving and putting out new growth.

I water when the top soil is dry, haven’t fertilised since it’s not growing, and it’s in this NE facing window – I try to open the blinds wide as often as I can but do have to close sometimes for some privacy. The amount of sun you see lasts for a few hours in the morning on a nice day – for the rest of the day it’s indirect but a bright room.

Am I doing something wrong? I think the plant is healthy-ish but just not growing. If there are any pests left I wouldn’t think it’s enough to stunt growth. Going to struggle to give it more light as it’s one of the brightest spots in my house where such a large plant will fit.
