How to eat Turnips?
I've never had any, but I do like growing things…
Hi! Beautiful lady 😊 you are looking so beautiful and pretty 😍 and beautiful sharing very well explained for your experiences thax for sharing happy gardening have a great time
Hi Val I have an issue that maybe you can help me with. Whenever and wherever I grow brassicas from seed the small plants emerge from seed. Then they seem to be leggy where from the point they emerge to several inches of legginess to a nodule that has healthy leaves. I seemingly do all the suggested tasks such as air flow and dropping grow lights down low (if starting inside) etc. Then the plants are difficult to water as they want to collapse even under mist. Idk if this is normal but definitely is challenging especially if direct sown in the garden. Then I want bury the transplants up to the nodule. Any thoughts?
I’ve never grown turnips and I don’t remember ever eating a turnip 😂 but with all the research and detail information in this video I feel like I‘ve been missing out on one of the most nutritious foods I could be growing in my garden. Will definitely start growing them next season. Thanks for sharing the knowledge Valerie💚
Why would I grow something that tastes like spicy Styrofoam? Turnips are inedible 😂
A surprisingly good dish is turnip custard.
We eat them roasted with parmesan and pesto. They are awesome. I try to grow them every year.
