Looks like sedge. Does it flower?
If it’s sedge, trying to dig it out is a waste of time. If there isn’t too much I’d get a little bottle of spray that says it will kill sedge and not grass. There are several manufacturers.
Spray the sedge and see what happens. If it doesn’t die or comes back, spray it again per the instructions on the bottle.

It’s definitely Johnson Grass. Has to be nuked. Spreads through very aggressive rhizomes
