Here’s my little diy countertop setup for fresh herbs. Window faces NW so added the overhead light because the plants started getting leggy. Started about 3 weeks ago with a grocery store basil I transplanted from soil. Been weeding them down to the better quality plants and once I have 1-2 bushy producers I plan on using the rest of the spots for other herbs. Running general purpose liquid NPK fertilizer with Hydrogaurd. 50/50 dechlorinated tap & RO because tap is high in dissolved solids. 6.0ph 1.2EC. Took about a week and a half for the plants to get through the transplant shock and to start sending out more roots, but they’re starting to put on fresh growth since topping the main stems.
