This pump is for an ice bath but I'm wondering if it is just an air pump and air stone? It claims 'The Ozone (Oxygen in the form of O³) kills bacteria and viruses instantly on contact and leaves no waste products that cause irritation or cloudy water like chlorine'. Is that what air pumps fo or does this have something else in it that cleans the water?

In my opinion just take H202 to kill everything or HOCL, i think you can marry h202 with your nutes in small dosage, it’s like preventing decease, clogging, root rots etc…
I’m planning to grow with H202 or HOCL so that’s why and many growers have success with it
No, they don’t clean water.
But they can help keep the water clean by pumping in ozone into the water, preventing slimy bacterial and algae growth. And that is what is claimed, it seems.
I have no idea if it actually produces any ozone.
