Just picked up this giant Monstera dumped off the side of the road in Miami. It’s got roots, should I go straight to soil or in a water bucket?

    I’m going to let it callus from my cut overnight, but I want to set it up for success and prevent it from rotting.

    Strait into well draining soil. Remove the flowerbuds, those green sigars and the lowest two leaves for better results. The flowers should be removed ASAP. The leaves will be less bad but it is best practice to remove.
