Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will respond but for what it’s worth, I think that could be oregano. If so, it doesn’t have any crazy requirements and should grow fine near a window

Don’t quote me on this but I believe it’s a Waterhyssop a herb native to wetlands of southern and Eastern India, Australia, Europe, Africa, Asia, and North and South America it’s typically used as garnish, herbal teas, smoothies, soups,salads, and flavoring meat and vegetable dishes if I’m right hope this helps!

In the end I vote that it’s thyme. It’s an annual in my zone (most of them). Lovely herb with chicken or other poultry or pork- yum!
