Recs for Front Porch Pots?

Does anybody have any recommendations for plants to put in these large pots on my front porch? It receives dappled sunlight and I was originally thinking a chaste tree to start. Would especially love to have any TikTok of blue or purple flower!

Please please don’t plant a chaste tree. It’s also called Vitex. It is an invasive tree. The seeds get eaten by birds and eventually get pooped out on wet soil near creeks and streams and instead of native trees and bushes there’s a bunch of Vitex.

Consider something native! I will come back and offer some suggestions when I have more time.

For purple you could try a Salvia ‘Amistad’ or Salvia ‘Black & Blue’ – look in the “shade” section of various local nurseries… That said, some natives are likely to do better in shade “Salvia Coccinea” (come in red/pink/white) are prolific bloomers in shade, mexican honeysuckle (orange), turks cap (red/pink), various native “Texas/Brazillian rock rose” (purple/pink) would still do fine in shade.

Purple Heart will grow in pots and dappled sunlight.
