Ready for chop? ✂️

I've been wanting to chop this up to make a fuller plant for a year with no growth and after moving to a sunny apartment a couple of months ago it's finally growing again, but winter is coming up quickly and I can't decide if I should wait, in case my chances are bad.

My apartment won't ever go colder than 16°C, in fact it gets quite hot during the day with the sun, is this enough to simulate a winterless winter? 👀

I'm also unsure where to chop, other than the top cutting having an extra leaf for insurance. Ultimately I want to transfer to pon, right now it's very root bound so I thought it'd be a good time to chop soon because of this.

Any thoughts?

That plant will take off once it’s in a bigger pot. I’m tempted to say just repot her without the chop (provide support like a moss pole or something). Then when you’ve got a little more growth and it’s hitting spring do the chop.
