Whats wrong with this?

I don't know what's wrong with it. Initially I put it in a spot with plenty of indirect sunlight but it didn't like it. It's now in the living room in a spot with less indirect sunlight and I even changed the soil but nothing is working. I use an app called 'plant parent' for watering reminders. I water it daily. Is it because of overwatering? Any help?

  1. This is a Hydrangea, it is usually a garden plant. There are different varieties but they all go dormant in winter and their flowers and foliage die back. In spring they start to sprout again. In order for them to be healthy and beautiful they need pruning in late winter. They like acidic soil and while they do like a lot of water, especially during dormancy, they don’t need it and you’ll only rot the plant. Depending on where you are, you could still put it outside but given the state of the plant, I’d say it is too stressed for that.

I don’ think Hydrangeas work as houseplants, I never saw them inside. Maybe on a pot on a balcony, but not really in the house. They like light, but not harsh direct sun. They like water, but I really don’t know how much water do they need when inside. Also that pot looks really big for a plant of that size.
Maybe someone who grew Hydrangeas in a pot will know better, mine are in the garden.
