Drosera leaf propagation

I have this drosera rotundifolia for 2 months. It is very young. Now it is preparing for winter dormancy. I want to take 1 or 2 leaf cuttings and try to propagate it to have some backup plants. But I'm afraid to harm it so it will not survive the winter. Maybe it is too young for such propagation? Should I try or it is too risky?

You can probably eveb take four leaves without a problem.

Just put them into a closed container on a layer of peat and wait.
