Yes and A SHIT TON of water. This is an allocasia ( spelling ). I think!, also known as elephant ears tropical plants that will drink as much as you give them. I grow this family outside in Utah and I could leave a hose on them all day and the results would new leaves and just flourishing. Maybe a bigger pot would help too. Also if like their outdoor cousins a bigger pot will grow a bunch more bulbs and leaves ( essentially a new plant ) good luck.

If that window is it’s only light source, then yes it needs more light. Alocasias are very hungry for light, and if you keep your blinds half shut they’re not going to survive for long. Even without the blinds, the window blocks out about 70%~ of usable sunlight…add in the blinds, it’s basically nothing then. Grow lights have come a long way in the past few year…I would highly recommend them if you want your indoor plants to THRIVE and not just hopefully survive
