a few weeks ago I caught an arm rotting on one of my TBM’s and tried to save the tips via grafts. I cut away the rot and dust sulfur and pull the cactus out of the pot and just let it air dry like the past week or two. Was inspecting last night and I gave it a squish and it sunk in. I decided to cut into it and see if I could determine what happened. I’m clueless! What I can tell you is that the odor was overwhelmingly, robust, and Putrid AF. The green flesh on this was thick AF. What a shame!!!

Heart goes out to you. I just lost one of my babies a few days ago. Had to bring my plants in and out the cold ass apartment and with all of that I got rot in a 5 section plant that took all but one section. I’m trying to save it with a graft. Good luck! Love watching TBM grow!
