No idea what type of tree it is. It's in a rock bed with some bushes. The tree for reference is just over 6 ft tall. I am in zone 6b.
I moved into this house last October. I don't remember if it was this bad or not then. I noticed over the course of this year, the bottom has been getting worse. I'm not sure what the best thing to do would be. Any advice?
