Persimmons! Make sure they are fully orange as they’re not good underripe. Not sure what variety this is so would maybe recommend cooking first, but some varieties are good for fresh eating!

Persimmons. Make sure they are absolutely ripe which means they have likely fallen from the tree

Delicious but astringent. I’d wait until *after* the first frost in your area to eat any. They will be much better, trust me.

Persimmons, they are edible but NOT YET. Before they are fully ripe they are suuuuper tannic and bitter.
