I'm in the process of chopping off the flowers that are done blooming but I noticed there are leaves growing at the center between the flowers and lower leaves. Do I get rid of the older bottom leaves or the new leaves? Will the base of the flower stems get in the way of the new leaves? Or is it gonna keep growing in layers like that? I do not recall encountering this after the first bloom
