Just for this orchid as a gift… noticed the base/roots were covered in webs. Yesterday I sprayed some safers 3-1 garden spray because it says it controls spider mites. Today I saw this lil guy, does he get to stay or should I take care of it?

Looks like spider to me. Afaik spider mites are quite tiny. Even tinier.
